薄壁套圈軸承精度高、非常安靜以及承載能力很強。這些球軸承有三種設計，並且極端的小、橫截面大多為正方形。在這些系列中，即使是更大的軸直徑和軸承孔，橫截面也保持不變。這些軸承因此稱為等截面(CS)。正是這個特性將標準ISO系列中的薄壁套圈軸承與傳統的軸承區別開來。
