楊維東,博士,教授,博士生導師。《生態毒理學報》編委,廣東省高等學校生物類教學指導委員會委員兼秘書長。主要從事環境生物對毒素的響應與抗性機制、赤潮毒素的生態效應與致毒機理、有毒有害藻的遺傳多樣性等的研究。近年連續主持國家自然科學基金面上項目4項,以通訊作者身份在Fish Shellfish Immunol、Aquat Toxicol、Environ Pollut、Algal Res等期刊發表SCI論文30餘篇,授權發明專利4項。出版《微量元素與健康》、《環境生理學》和《中國南海赤潮研究》等教材、專著多部,獲教育部高等學校科學研究優秀成果獎(科學技術)二等獎1項,廣東省教育教學成果一等獎2項、二等獎1項。

1989年本科畢業於西北師範大學化學系
1992年在西北師範大學化學系獲得理學碩士學位
楊維東工作經歷
1992-1996在蘭州大學藥學院(原蘭州醫學院藥學系)任教
1999年 入職暨南大學生命科學技術學院,先後任講師、副教授(2000)、教授(2006)。
