1980-1984年,獲得四川大學學士學位,分析化學專業
1984-1987年,獲得北京大學碩士學位,生物有機化學專業
1988-1994年,獲得瑞士蘇黎世聯邦理工大學(ETH, Zurich)博士學位,化學生物學專業
1994-1998年,哈佛大學醫學院遺傳系博士後,從師於2009年諾貝爾醫學獎得主邵斯達克教授(Professor Jack Szostak)
1998年, 被聘入紐約城市大學布魯克倫學院為助理教授
2004年, 升為副教授,並被聘入喬治亞州立大學化學系
2009年, 升為喬治亞州立大學終身正教授,獲大學傑出教授獎,併為美國佐治亞州癌症研究傑出研究員

黃震研究方向

他的主要研究興趣包括:硒核酸以及碲核酸創新性研究,包括生物化學合成,核糖核酸衍生化和核酸及核酸-蛋白複合物晶體結構及功能研究,以核酸和核酸-蛋白複合物結構測定為基礎的新藥研發,核酸適配體和核酶的篩選及功能研究,疾病的核酸檢測診斷,核酸基因測序,高保真鹼基識別與RNA芯片,核酸抗腫瘤藥物研究。 [1]
