劉超，男，漢族，北京師範大學心理學部認知神經科學與學習國家重點實驗室暨IDG/麥戈文腦科學研究院教授/PI、博士生導師，青年長江學者、中組部“萬人計劃”青年拔尖人才、國家社科重大項目首席專家（2項）、國家重點研發計劃重點專項課題負責人。於2010年獲密歇根大學安娜堡分校心理學博士學位，獲美國心理學會（APA）Dissertation Research Award。現擔任中國認知科學學會社會認知分會常務理事、中國心理學會情緒與健康心理學分會和文化心理學分會理事、中國人工智能學會人工心理與人工情感專委會委員、國際社會神經科學學會(S4SN)中國分會理事。研究方向為情緒與社會認知神經科學，主要關注情緒在社會認知尤其是道德認知中的調控作用和腦機制，及其在教育、管理與安防等領域的應用。 [1-2]

劉超研究方向

研究方向為情緒與社會認知神經科學，主要關注情緒在社會認知尤其是道德認知中的調控作用和腦機制，及其在教育、管理與安防等領域的應用。如負罪感、羞愧以及同情等在人類道德觀及利他行為的形成中所起的調節作用；各種積極與消極社會情緒(讚賞、厭惡、喜悦、憎恨、嫉妒等等)在人類小羣體交互行為，如競爭與合作、懲罰與獎賞、決策與博弈等行為中所發揮的影響等。 [1]

大學時選擇了計算機專業的劉超， 最終卻成為了一名心理學家。這樣的轉 折，在認知神經科學領域，不僅不算突兀，而且具有相當優勢。作為一門新興的交叉學科，認知神經科學綜合了計算機科學、心理學、哲學、語言學、人類學和神經科學等多項內容。“認知神經科學屬於認知心理學的一個研究方向，它與計算機實際上有很多交集。”劉超解釋説。
“也許就像宇宙的本質一樣，道德的本質永遠不能完全準確的被揭示，但是這又有什麼關係，我們此時投身在這個讓人激動的領域，為這個問題的揭示做了自己的貢獻，為人們的幸福生活或直接或間接的做出了指引。對於一個認知神經科學的研究者來説，這樣就足夠了。”劉超説。
