劉敏研究方向

1、主要從事自然地理學與環境地理學研究,發展並提出城市自然地理學學科理論體系,推進城市(羣)地表系統自然-人文過程與機理耦合、城市地理大數據與環境-災害集成應用;城市自然地理學與環境過程研究; [3] 
2、環境地理學與河口生物地球化學循環及其生態健康效應;
3、城市LUCC與環境(災害)效應;
4、長江三角洲與城市環境的信息集成與服務。 [2]
