倫敦大學城市學院商學院學校介紹

校徽 校徽
卡斯商學院 （Cass Business School）成立於1966年，隸屬於倫敦大學城市學院（City, University of London）。城市學院始建於1894年，是一所綜合性大學。在泰晤士報和星期日泰晤士報優秀大學指南英國排名中位居45-60名之間，2015年在QS世界大學排名位居第314位。
2001年在獲得約翰·卡斯爵士基金會（The Sir John Cass Foundation）的資助後，倫敦大學城市學院將商學院名稱由城市大學商學院（City University Business School）更名為約翰·卡斯爵士商學院（The Sir John Cass Business School）。
英國女王伊麗莎白二世於2003年為學院位於金融城的Bunhill Row的新校址揭幕。此外，學院還在倫敦金融城Aldersgate街與阿聯酋迪拜設有教育中心。
2020年7月6日，倫敦卡斯商學院（Cass Business School）突然發佈聲明稱，即日起更改校名，去除卡斯一詞。根據聲明，學校認為約翰·卡斯爵士的大部分財富是通過黑人奴隸貿易取得的，繼續使用卡斯名稱與城市的多樣性和包容性的價值觀不符，並且會對黑人造成傷害。
2021年4月21日，校方正式宣佈，該學院於2021年9月6日命名為貝葉斯商學院（Bayes Business School），新名字取自英國著名數學家托馬斯·貝葉斯（Thomas Bayes）。 [1]  [53]

  • A good university degree (upper second class honours degree (2:1) or above) or appropriate [52]  professional qualification, or at least six years' relevant business experience if you don't have a degree.
  • A minimum of three years' full-time professional experience, gained after graduation [52]  .
  • All applicants are required to take eitherGMAT or GRE. You should aim for a well-balanced minimum GMAT score of 600 (the average score is 640) and for a score at or above 75% for the quantitative and verbal section of the GRE. We consider all applications on an individual basis and a high GMAT or GRE score doesn't guarantee admission. You can apply before you take either test if you provide your confirmed test date on your application form - you must send us the test booking confirmation together with your application.
  • Personal statement - please consider the following questions: [52] 
  • Discuss the greatest threats and opportunities for the current area of business you work in, or area you aspire to work in post-MBA (approx. 400 words).
  • As further support of your application, please tell us why you want to do an MBA and why Cass is the right fit for you (approx. 400 words).
  • If English is not your first language you will require a minimum, well- balancedIELTSscore of 7.0.In some cases, this requirement can be waived - please contact Admissions team for more information.
  • Two supporting references from suitable sources. They can either be from your employer and university tutor or from your current and previous employer.
  • Although your referees will receive an electronic request, it is our experience that referees respond more quickly if the candidate also sends the link to the online reference form directly to them.
  • As a part of the application process you will be required to complete a careers questionnaire. We will send you the link once we have received your application and you have passed our initial assessment.
