郭秀雲

1982 年畢業於山西大學數學系。

1982 年 ---2002 年山西大學任教。

2002年獲香港中文大學博士學位。

1993 年 7 月 ---1993 年 12 月被澳大利亞國立大學邀請作為訪問學者科研合作。

1994 年晉升為教授。

1997 年 5 月 ---1997 年 11 月被西班牙巴倫西亞大學邀請作為訪問教授科研合作。

1998 年 10 月 —1999 年 3 月被美國俄亥俄州立大學邀請作為訪問學者科研合作。

2002 年 ---2004 年曾多次被香港中文大學邀請進行科研合作。

現為上海大學教授 , 博士生導師。

曾獲山西省科技進步一等獎和二等獎, 以及國務院政府特殊津貼。

代數學，有限羣論，置換羣，冪零羣與可解羣之間等 (研究生課程)。

他多年來一直從事有限羣的研究 , 在正規補子羣的存在方面推廣了著名的 Brauer-Suzuki定理，並從通常研究的對偶角度出發首次研究正規補的存在，為正規補的研究提供了一種新的研究途徑。在可解羣的研究方面解決了著名羣論專家 Deskins提出的一個猜想。近年來從事極小子羣對有限羣結構影響的研究，統一併推廣了著名的 Burnside定理和 Ito 定理，為進一步刻劃某些飽和羣系奠定了基礎。

2002—2004, 發展應用局部方法研究羣的結構和攻克若干難題, 國家自然科學基金, 17萬。

2003—2005, 極小子羣的性質與有限羣的結構, 上海市自然科學基金, 5萬, 主持。

2005—2007, 有限羣的局部性質與對偶飽和羣系, 國家自然科學基金, 主持。
