以項目負責人主持國家自然科學基金、省自然科學基金、國家海洋經濟創新發展區域示範專項、廣東省科技計劃、廣東省海洋漁業科技推廣專項、廣州市科技計劃、國際合作等項目20餘項;重點開展凡納濱對蝦斑節對蝦、加州鱸、卵形鯧鰺等的營養與免疫、營養與代謝、功能性發酵飼料開發等的研究;目前主要進行營養免疫因子基因功能多態性分析研究;以第一及通訊作者在British Journal of Nutrition, Frontiers in Physiology, Fish and Shellfish Immunology, Aquaculture等國際著名期刊發表SCI論文40餘篇;授權發明專利3項; [1]
