劉方明

（華中科技大學教授）

劉方明，華中科技大學教授、博導。先後於清華大學、香港科技大學獲學士和博士學位，後作為加拿大多倫多大學訪問學者、微軟亞洲研究院“鑄星計劃”訪問學者。2011年任華中科技大學副教授，2014年破格晉升為教授。

在雲計算與網絡分佈式系統、數據中心與綠色計算等領域承擔國家重點研發計劃項目“高效能雲計算數據中心關鍵技術與裝備”（課題負責人）、973計劃青年科學家項目、國家自然科學基金、工業界合作項目等。一系列論文發表在USENIX ATC、ACM/IFIP/USENIX Middleware、INFOCOM、ICNP、ICDCS、SIGMETRICS等著名國際學術會議、以及Proceedings of the IEEE封面主題論文（ESI高被引論文）、TON、JSAC、TPDS、TC等IEEE/ACM Transactions，獲IEEE GLOBECOM 2011、IWQoS 2016等多項國際學術會議最佳論文獎、最佳論文提名、華中科技大學2016年度十大“科技新星獎”和“全校優秀教師班主任”。所研發的雲-端融合技術與原型系統獲企業應用和大規模用户，其中轉化的多雲開放互聯和多數據中心級聯軟件模塊進入全球最大的雲計算開源生態標準OpenStack官方發行版。曾任2016年國家自然科學基金委信息學部面上項目會評專家、CCF優秀博士學位論文評審專家、2017年香港研究資助局（RGC）General Research Fund項目外審專家。^[1]
