這首歌的現場演出是在歐洲歌唱大賽下半年第二場，5月12日。 ^[4]  jedward14日獲得進入決賽資格。當晚排名第六名，完成第八的25個參賽國家，給愛爾蘭的十一年來最好的結果。他們收到了來自英國，丹麥王國，瑞典王國的12分，在澳大利亞獨立電視台投票被評為最受歡迎的歌曲。 ^[5]

2011年5月23日，美國總統奧巴馬訪問愛爾蘭，Jedward在其總統演講上，為奧巴馬及6萬多人的觀眾表演了Lipstick，並在演出結束後同各界人士一起受總統接見。所有人中只有Jedward穿着誇張的演出服，奧巴馬總統也首先來到他們面前詢問“What is Jedward?（什麼是Jedward）”。這就是常常聽他們講到的”We met Barack Obama(我們見過奧巴馬)”的故事。在奧巴馬總統連任後，John開完笑説又有4年能向別人炫耀這張照片了。

lipstick有兩個MV。首先是通過廣播RTÉ生產的官方電視輸入部分。它包括動畫的John和Edward的照片，和在歐洲歌唱大賽表演lipstick的錄像。第二個MV（被稱為巴黎版）是由John和Edward自己在巴黎度假時拍攝的。特點是John和Edward在巴黎位置各種表演，包括巴黎地標埃菲爾鐵塔上的各種表演。
