艾倫·艾爾達個人經歷

艾倫·艾爾達1936年1月28日出生於紐約，父親是好萊塢知名演員羅伯特·艾爾達（代表作《藍色狂想曲》），羅伯特曾希望兒子將來能做一名醫生，但艾倫卻執意要當演員。大學畢業後艾倫先是在克里夫蘭劇院登台演出，不久後便殺入了百老匯，繼而進軍電視和電影圈。艾倫具有一種如計算機般精準的喜劇天賦，他廣為人知的角色是1972至1983年間在全美熱播的電視劇《陸軍野戰醫院》（M*A*S*H）中的風趣的陸軍外科醫生本傑明，這個角色為他贏得了無數獎項，包括4次艾美獎和6次金球獎。同時他還數度參與了《陸軍野戰醫院》的編劇及導演工作，前面提到的艾美獎座中有一樽就是導演獎 [1]  。
與其輝煌的電視成就相比，艾倫的電影生涯就顯得有些平淡，這點倒是和許多成功電視明星的事業軌跡相似。艾倫演的大部分電影都能獲得影評人的讚譽，但在票房方面卻始終令人失望。步入中年後的艾倫熱心政治及社會活動，這多少限制了他的角色選擇，在近年和伍迪·艾倫的多次合作中（《罪與罰》《曼哈頓神秘謀殺案》《人人都説我愛你》等），艾倫多以正面形象出現。
這次在馬丁·斯科塞斯的《飛行者》中扮演與迪卡普里奧扮演的休斯作對的參議員拉爾夫，政客陰險嘴臉演繹得活靈活現，也使艾倫以69歲高齡首度提名奧斯卡。
此外，他始終對科學有濃厚興趣，1993-2005年期間主持PBS’ Scientific American Frontiers，並建立了Alan Alda Centre for Communicating Science致力於科學傳播。 [2] 
在11季的電視劇版喜劇《陸軍野戰醫院》中成功地扮演了一號男主角外科軍醫鷹眼皮爾斯（Hawkeye Pierce）上尉。M*A*S*H使他獲得21次艾美獎提名，獲獎五次，他是第一個在一部劇中以演員、導演、編劇三個身份分別獲得艾美獎的人，包括此劇在內他總共獲得過31次艾美獎提名，並且六次榮獲金球獎。
