在教學方面,主持了省重點教改項目(已結題,驗收結果為優秀)、校教改項目和校本科優質課程建設各1項,公開出版主編《機械工程材料》教材1部,並參編公開出版教材《食品工程測試》。2013年獲學校青年教師講課比賽三等獎,學院青年教師講課比賽一等獎。
在科研方面,先後主持了教育部留學回國人員、陝西省自然科學基金、農業部公益基金、西北農林科技大學青年學術骨幹項目、楊凌現代農業國際研究院科研基金等科研項目。近年來,先後在國內外學術期刊《Transactions of the ASABE》、《Sensors》、《Spectroscopy and spectral analysis》、《農業工程學報》等刊物上發表論文30餘篇。
