82年雲大生物系77級植物專業畢業,
88年獲植物學碩士,
2003年獲昆明植物所博士。
至今,雲南大學生命科學學院植物學教授、博士生導師,兼任雲南省植物學會副理事長、雲南省政府濕地專家委員會委員。
