面向航空航天、核、船舶、汽車等行業的應用需求,圍繞“激光製造”這個“卡脖子”核心技術領域,主持國家自然科學基金面上項目、青年基金項目,上海市自然科學基金面上項目、上海市青年科技英才揚帆項目、上海交通大學新進教師科研啓動基金項目、上海交大-瑞典皇家理工國際合作項目等多項國內外科研項目,先後參與了國家自然科學基金面上/重點、國家重點研發計劃、日本文部科學省和加拿大研究基金會等項目。和日本大阪大學、日本海洋研究開發機構、德國柏林材料研究所、英國倫敦學院、瑞典皇家理工學院、加拿大多倫多大學等國際一流的大學或研究機構建立了穩定的合作關係。近5年以第一作者或通訊作者在IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics、Acta Materialia、Optics Letters等領域知名期刊發表SCI論文20篇。
