檀結慶，男，漢族，1962年10月出生，安徽省望江縣人，理學博士，先後在聯邦德國Dortmund大學數學系，比利時Antwerp大學數學與計算機科學系從事博士後研究，比利時Antwerp大學數學與計算機科學系，加拿大St. Francis Xavier大學數學與計算機科學系，美國Delaware州立大學應用數學研究中心做訪問教授。現任民革中央委員、民革安徽省委會副主委，全國人大代表，合肥工業大學國際事務處（港澳台事務辦公室）處長（主任）、應用數學研究所所長 [2-4]  。
主要從事非線性科學計算、計算機輔助幾何設計、計算機圖形學、數字圖象處理、小波分析等方面的研究 [1]  。
