多次承擔和參加國家自然科學基金, 863計劃等重要項目的研究工作。 在特種光纖極其應用, 光纖電流傳感器, 光纖陀螺, 有源光纖寬帶光源,光纖無源器件等方面取得了很多重要的研究成果。

先後發表文章30餘篇，其中10餘篇被SCI，EI收錄，另有專利4項。
