嚴明人物經歷

1996年於南京大學獲生物化學理學碩士學位,1997-2000年在南京軍區南京總醫院檢驗中心工作,2001年至今在南京工業大學從事生物信息學與微生物應用技術的科研和教學工作。

嚴明研究方向

1、酶的結構生物學與生物信息學
藉助結構生物學和生物信息學技術深入研究重要工業酶的序列、結構和功能關係,在對酶蛋白三維空間結構進行解析的基礎上,通過對酶蛋白進行構效解析、理性設計和定向進化,提出理性設計和定向進化策略來生產新型和改良工業酶。
開展工業生物催化劑及其催化過程的研究,採用酶或全細胞催化技術,生產化學法難以轉化與合成的新型生物產品,或替代現行化學合成工藝中的複雜步驟。研究生物體及其酶進行定向物質轉化的分子機制,開發新的生物合成技術。開發化工原料、醫藥原料、手性化合物、功能糖與糖基化學品等高值精細化學品的高效生物合成技術,以生物技術改造化學工業過程。

嚴明研究成果

嚴明作為生物信息學研究室負責人,在蛋白質工程和代謝工程等領域的應用研究積累了豐富的經驗。近年來參加了國家973項目“新一代生物催化與生物轉化的科學基礎”和“人工合成細胞工廠”等多項國家與省部級研究項目。在國內外檢索期刊上發表論文30餘篇,其中SCI論文10餘篇,申請國家發明專利10餘項,譯有《比較基因組學手冊:原理與方法》一書。
