圍繞“人工濕地可持續設計與運行”，開展了具有國際影響力的研究工作。以第一或通訊作者在Environ. Sci. Technol.、Water Res.等環境領域著名期刊發表SCI收錄論文50餘篇，全部論文SCI被引2000餘次，H指數26，2篇論文入選ESI高被引論文 ^[1-2]  。獲山東省南四湖水專項工作先進個人稱號。 ^[1-2] 

主要從事生態污水淨化及再生回用技術領域的研究。 ^[1-2]
