劉曉東人物經歷

2011年獲得澳大利亞莫納什大學理學榮譽學士學位;
2019年獲得澳大利亞莫納什大學博士學位;
2019-2021年在莫納什大學和澳洲再生醫學研究所從事表觀遺傳學和重編程相關博士後研究
2021年開始在英國弗朗西斯·克里克研究所及劍橋大學Kathy Niakan實驗室進行基因編輯與人類胚胎髮育等方向博士後研究。 [1] 

劉曉東研究方向

劉曉東實驗室的研究主要以應用單細胞測序和表觀遺傳組學測序等技術揭示了人源體細胞到誘導幹細胞(iPSC)重編程過程中的動態細胞命運調控, 利用誘導重編程捕捉了原始多能幹細胞,滋養層幹細胞等細胞狀態 (Nature Methods, 2017; Nature, 2020),並發現了重編程過程中細胞命運的調控機制和首次構建了人源三維類囊胚結構(Nature 2021)。實驗室將利用前沿交叉學科技術,如單細胞多組學,時空組學,生物信息學分析和算法開發,幹細胞培養和誘導重編程,小鼠,大動物及人胚胎操作,幹細胞和胚胎基因編輯,譜系追蹤,實時成像/激光片層掃描顯微鏡, 人工智能,類器官和生物材料工程等進一步瞭解胚胎和器官發育,誘導重編程,幹細胞命運調控和終端功能細胞分化過程中的細胞命運的調控機制,並將研究成果轉化到在通用型幹細胞療法,器官培養和移植等再生醫學領域的應用。

曾獲得Carmela and Carmelo Ridolfo Prize in Stem Cell Research,發現生物醫學研究所優秀博士生畢業論文獎,國際幹細胞大會科學優秀獎,國家優秀自費留學生獎學金等獎項,併入選英國1851研究獎學金展覽皇家委員會和歐洲分子生物學組織 (EMBO) postdoc fellowship。 [1]
