劉思達

劉思達，1980年生於北京，祖籍雲南。芝加哥大學社會學博士，北京大學法學學士，普林斯頓高等研究院（Institute for Advanced Study）成員 ^[1]  ，現任多倫多大學社會學系、法學院副教授 ^[2-3]  ，美國律師基金會（American Bar Foundation）研究員。主要研究方向為法律社會學與職業社會學，近年來一直致力於關於中國法律職業的實證研究。曾在《中國社會科學》《中外法學》《社會學研究》《社會理論》《北大法律評論》《清華法治論衡》《法律和社會科學》《交大法學》、American Journal of Sociology ^[4]  、Sociological Theory ^[5]  、Law & Society Review、Law & Social Inquiry、China Quarterly、Wisconsin Law Review、Fordham Law Review、Annual Review of Law & Social Science、Symbolic Interaction等學術期刊上發表過數十篇中英文論文，並著有《失落的城邦：當代中國法律職業變遷》（北京大學出版社，2008年版）、《割據的邏輯：中國法律服務市場的生態分析》（上海三聯書店，2011年版）、《霍姆斯讀本：論文與公共演講選集》（譯著，上海三聯書店，2009年版）、Criminal Defense in China: The Political of Lawyers at Work（劍橋大學出版社，2016年版）等學術著作。 ^[2] 

1998-2002年 就讀於北京大學法學院，獲法學學士學位；

2002-2009年 就讀於芝加哥大學社會學系，獲碩士（M.A.）、博士（Ph.D.）學位；

2007-2008年 美國律師基金會（American Bar Foundation）博士研究員；

2009-2016年 威斯康星大學麥迪遜分校（University of Wisconsin-Madison）社會學系、法學院助理教授；

2010-2013年 上海交通大學凱原法學院特別研究員；

2013-2015年 法社會學協會（Law & Society Association）理事；

2016-2017年 普林斯頓高等研究院（Institute for Advanced Study）成員；

2016年-2022年 多倫多大學社會學系助理教授；
