，廣東省傑青。主要圍繞新型功能材料(包括MOF、COF基材料)的設計開發及其應用探索展開前沿研究。迄今為止，在化學頂尖期刊美國化學會志(JACS，影響因子12.113), 材料類頂尖期刊化學材料Chem.Mater.影響因子8.354等專業刊物上發表SCI論文三十餘篇，其中2015年受著名雜誌CrystEngComm約稿，撰寫亮點論文一篇並被推選為雜誌封面，2012年發表的JACS論文被Nature Chemistry作為研究亮點介紹，2006年發表在Chem.Comm.的論文受編審高度評價被推選為雜誌外封面文章，總SCI他引次數超300次，單篇被引次數最高近100次。已申請8項中國發明專利，其中3項進入實審階段。2015獲得廣東省傑出青年基金資助，2014年入選首批廣東省特支計劃百千萬青年工程拔尖人才，2014年5月獲得廣東省韶關市科學技術進步二等獎，2013年入選首批廣東省高等學校優秀青年教師培養計劃，2012年入選廣東省 “千百十工程”第七批校級培養對象。還曾先後獲得廣東工業大學先進科技工作者，連續四年、廣東工業大學教學優秀獎、優秀班主任、優秀本科畢業設計指導老師等榮譽稱號。主持國家自然科學基金面上項目和青年基金、廣東省傑青、廣東省特支計劃、廣東省優青、教育部博士點新教師基金、廣東省教育廳育苗工程、“百人計劃”啓動基金等項目。
