BBC radio 1 Huw Stephens 於2014-8-13 0點（英國當地時間）首播bastille新單bad news！

繼首張錄音室磚大獲成功之後，人們對他們接下來發行的作品有很高的期望。果不其然Bastille發佈了新歌Bad_News，該曲今早在BBC radio 1 Huw Stephens的節目全球獨家首播了。

節目中BBC radio 1 跟主唱Dan進行了電話連線，此時他們正趕往奧地利 Frequency Festival 的路上。dan説他們正着力於新磚以及mixtape的創作， 同時也等着發新歌。

他們不確定新歌會給大家帶來什麼樣的感覺，他們覺得這歌有種“叛變”的感覺因為這歌很炫也很新（以前沒嘗試過的曲風？説的是迷幻麼？） 他把這歌跟最近的一些大事相連，比如進來聽到的一些很可怕嚇人的事故，這歌是最近幾周才寫完的。

這歌一開始就以一種合成器重複（synth riff intro ），伴隨着弱聲以及電子節拍吸引着我們，跟以前的原聲大不相同。但是dan那獨特的聲音，仍然很容易辨識。這歌更偏向電子化以及 experimental mixing得很好 ^[1]
