Streetwise 是由導演Martin Bell 於1984年拍攝的紀錄片電影。此部影片受1983年“Life” 雜誌上的文章“Street of the Lost”（作者Cheryl McCall， 攝影Mary Ellen Mark） 啓發而拍攝。

基於對1988年出版的同名書籍的考察工作，McCall 與Mark 深入到美國西雅圖去揭示這座宜居城市背後存在的嚴重的街頭流浪問題和流浪者絕望的情緒。當新書寫作過程中和幾名無家可歸的孩子取得聯繫後，Mark 認為應該把這些孩子的現狀加以記錄並最終説服導演Bell 開始這一計劃。在這部影片中Mark 與McCall同樣也參與了拍攝。Streetwise 講述了多個無家可歸的少年的真實故事，但主要情節敍述了14歲的少女Erin Blackwell（Tiny）的街頭生活。
