整部影片充滿了淡淡的青春校園和美好的初戀的味道。

此歌出現在男女主角出演話劇時，女主角為男主角而唱。

這首歌兩次出現在韓國校園愛情劇《DREAM HIGH》，第一次是高惠美（裴秀智飾，Miss A成員）在宋森動（金秀賢飾）家上廁所時唱的，第二次則是高惠美在成名後的第100場演唱會上，為沒有到來的宋森動唱的歌。

歌曲《ONLY HOPE》是2002年電影《初戀的回憶》裏的插曲,從歌詞可以看出,其中瀰漫了對心中另一人與自己對未來的期望和嚮往,其中不乏淡淡的憂傷。

演唱者Mandy Moore（曼迪·摩爾）是影片《初戀的回憶》的女主角。

曼迪·摩爾於1984年4月10日出生在新罕布什爾州的納舒厄，父親Don是個民航駕駛員，母親Stacy曾是新聞記者。在看了音樂劇《俄克拉荷馬！》之後，她下定決心要從事演唱事業。童年時，她經常在家鄉佛羅里達奧蘭多附近舉辦的體育活動中演唱國歌而變得小有名氣，被人們稱為“國歌女孩”。
