Modern Talking Modern Talking
Modern Talking 是一支德國流行音樂雙人組合，由Thomas Anders和Dieter Bohlen組成。最具代表性的舞曲就是《You're My Heart, You're My Soul》。中文版的《連鎖反應》為此曲與另外兩首《Brother Louie》與《Cheri Cheri Lady》的翻唱。
Modern Talking在商業上最成功的德國流行組合。他們的曲調給人印象深刻，演唱的歌詞則採用英語。
説起80年代的歐式舞曲旋風，當中最具代表性的就非Modern Talking(摩登淘金合唱團)莫屬了。《Brother Louie》（路易兄弟）是摩登淘金最經典的一首歌（也就是港樂《路燈下的小女孩》的原曲）。　 [1]

來自德國的Modern Talking成立於1983年，由於二位團員實力堅強，初試啼聲後即締造鋭不可當的歐式舞曲風潮。大帥哥主唱Thomas Anders有着一副特殊嗓音與迷人風采，極富創作才情的作曲者兼製作人Dieter Bohlen則是打造該團黃金歌曲的狠角色。1984年推出的首支單曲《You're My Heart, You're My Soul》便以迅雷不及掩耳的強力旋風，吹刮在全球的各大小舞壇中。在發表了第二首單曲《You Can Win If You Want》以後一年，1985年首張LP大碟《The First Album》問世。1986年的《Brother Louie》更是陪伴許多人走過青澀歲月的解壓歌曲，這首歌實在是太有名了，以至於被50多種語言翻唱過。縱使你不會唱，估計也會在當年大街小巷的各種擴音喇叭薰陶中聽到耳熟。 以後的兩年中，Modern Talking憑着優雅的假聲演唱和清新的舞曲節拍紅遍了整個世界，事業達到了頂峯。

在Modern Talking的聲勢正如日中天時，兩人竟因理念不合而在1987年時分道揚鑣了，同年年底唱片公司推出兩人解散後才出版的專輯《In The Garden Of Venus》。但如此的黃金組合怎可能就此解散消失呢！兩人在度過不是很成功的十年單飛後，終於又在1998年重新攜手合作，推出重組後的首張精選大碟《Back For Good》，並創下全球銷售一千萬張的佳績。
2002年最新作品“Victory”中，共超值收錄了十五首快慢皆備的精采作品，其中氣勢非凡、熱鬧滾滾的"Ready For The Victory"，正是選自此輯的首支單曲，在這首歌曲中，來自柏林的創作主腦Dieter Bohlen與同樣擅於創作的俊美主唱Thomas Anders，除了保有歐陸舞曲慣有的輕快節奏與流暢甜美的旋律之外，還運用了類似Bee Gees的高亢假音唱腔與和聲，讓人聽了不經熱血沸騰，而歌詞中的We'll Be The Champion更肯定使它與輯中另一首令人屏息的"10 Seconds To Countdown"一般，成為2002年世足賽期間最熱門的加油點播曲。2002年，此曲已拿下德、匈兩國的排行前十名，堪稱是兩人重組出擊以來名次攀升最快的單曲。 [2]
