Coldplay獲得第57屆格萊美音樂獎三項提名之後，樂隊再次帶來好消息。在安吉麗娜·朱莉轉型擔任導演、製片人的最新電影《Unbroken》(堅不可摧)中，Coldplay創作並獻唱了主題曲《Miracles》(奇蹟)。 ^[1] 

關注電影的朋友最近一定會留意到朱莉皮特大家庭出現在世界各地宣傳電影《Unbroken》的身影。這部史詩電影講述了奧運選手兼二戰英雄Zamperini的傳奇人生故事，Zamperini在戰爭中憑藉頑強意志創造生命奇蹟，後又在關愛他的人幫助之下走出創傷陰影。正是根據這一主題，Coldplay創作了名為《Miracles》的主題曲，用音樂為電影添彩，為生命奇蹟吶喊。

Coldplay是英國搖滾樂壇進入新世紀之後崛起的最受歡迎的搖滾樂隊之一，他們秉承了英式搖滾樂隊一貫的Britpop/Alternative Rock英倫風格，成為了英國新一代樂隊中的傑出代表。

Coldplay有四個成員，樂隊最早成形於倫敦大學學院(UCL)時期。團員包括Chris Martin（主唱、鍵盤、吉他）、jon buckland（主奏吉他）、Guy Berryman（貝斯吉他）及Will Champion（鼓、合音、其他樂器）。Coldplay樂隊成軍之後的每一張專輯都不斷進步，一步一步地擴大他們的影響，並勇奪格萊美等多項大獎。

2014年12月6日，酷玩樂隊的《Ghost Stories》獲得第57屆格萊美流行演唱專輯獎提名。
