這首歌的靈感來自於比伯自己的“私生子”風波。2011年，一位女粉絲Mariah Yeater向比伯提起訴訟，聲稱自己和比伯在一次演出的後台發生了關係，並誕下一子。其後比伯接受親子鑑定，證明此事屬子虛烏有。不過，比伯卻把這樁“負面”新聞唱在了歌裏，被評為專輯中“最激進的歌曲”、“充滿邪氣的快節奏”。

賈斯汀·比伯在《We Love Pop》雜誌（2012年6月刊）揭示了他並不害怕去談論他那時的煎熬，因為他自己知道不可能的事情。並在做完親子鑑定後確定他並不是那個孩子的父親。“我有時還在想，真不敢相信這種事情會發生。但是這對我來説並不難以啓齒，因為我知道事情的真相，人們也知道事情的真相。”

他還在《We Love Pop》雜誌採訪中提到：“我們確實是受到那首歌（Michael Jackson'的'Billie Jean'）的啓發。我想寫一些不一樣的歌，那些能和我的歌迷有聯繫和被理解的歌。我想讓她們知道，這就是Justin的生活，他的歌也的確在寫他最近的事情。” ^[3-5]
