Kurenai

Kurenai，英文單曲，可以説「紅」的出現是X-JAPAN早期轉折點的重要標誌。至此，X已不只是「超有影響力的Indies Band」，這支異軍突起、早期走Metal路線的樂隊真正的實力開始無可限量的爆發。歌詞「紅」所代表的那種突破束縛、狂亂、熱情的精神狀態，正是當時X所期待和追求的。

在原「KURANAI」基礎上，各Member均作了編曲工作。這近乎於完美的作品一段時期內到達了連YO自己都無法超越的境界，也確定了今後X作品基調——淚、叫ぶ、傷害、探求、無助以及Set for free的強烈願望，被廣大Fans爭相傳唱，從此確定了很大一批鐵桿追隨者。

樂曲開頭就營造出淒涼、無望的心境，隨之將一切鬱塞的情緒突然的爆發出來，這樣的喧囂給人以振奮。間奏的演奏更讓人慾罷不能，高速的BASS、極速跨越多個音階的吉他，顯示出X強大、嫺熟的演奏技巧！
