I Need A Doctor

這首歌是Dr.Dre十幾年磨一劍的專輯《Detox》中的歌曲。歌曲由亞歷克斯男孩製作。Amazon網站上給出的官方發行日期是2月1日。歌詞中有一段“f**k all you fair-weather friends，all I need is him”，這一小段歌詞足見師徒倆的感情。

這首歌的歌名是一語雙關，而且歌詞裏面也充滿了雙關的詞，Dr為doctor的縮寫，有醫生和博士的意思，《I Need a Doctor》既指Em需要一位醫生來拯救Dr. Dre的生命，Eminem的生命中需要這位亦師亦友的Dr.Dre，也指他包括歌迷需要Dre迴歸，他們想念他的音樂迴歸。 ^[1] 

整首歌可以説是在圍繞的Dre來寫的——Dre曾經7年時間裏沒有出過唱片，並且經歷過失去兒子Andre Young.Jr的痛苦（他兒子因為吸毒致死） 和公司的不和等等。經歷了一系列的挫折，《Detox》這張唱片也是遲遲未能與歌迷見面， 並且宣稱此張唱片為最後一張。 可以説現在是Dre的人生低谷 ，同時 Dr.Dre身邊的曾經的朋友也棄他而去，不再真正關心他 。而此時Em站了出來—— “I Need A Doctor”，從歌名裏就能看出EM是想讓Dre能夠振作，走出困境。 此歌可以説是報答Dre作為他的恩師、朋友還有親人的一首歌。“ I Need A Doctor”的TV SHOW也是10年來Dre的首次登台， 也是為了Detox這張唱片的宣傳。 ^[4]

歌曲的音樂錄影帶由Allen Hughes導演，發佈於2011年2月24日。

MV的開始，德瑞博士站在海邊回憶起了過去的往事，包括他和埃米納姆寶貴的年輕時期片段。之後他開始飆車，最後車子被掀翻，德瑞博士出了車禍，從此被送進醫院，一直處於昏迷狀態。數年之後，埃米納姆來到他所在的醫院，他憤怒的懇求昏迷狀態的Dre快點醒來（寓意讓Dre快點復出發行《Detox》），Eminem的絕望不僅能聽到，還能通過他的眼睛看到。最後，在埃米納姆之後不久，德瑞博士復甦了，他開始鍛鍊，終於“復出”。 ^[5]
