Danny Boy

Danny boy《丹尼少年》，由愛爾蘭民謠《倫敦德里小調》改編，原是一個世紀前，一位愛爾蘭父親寫給即將從軍的兒子，告訴他説，當你下次回來的時候，我大概已經躺在墳裏，就像整個夏天的過去，花朵的凋零，就像你現在要走，也不能挽留。後來，作者又加上第四段，才使得這首歌由父子間的訣別，變成了好似情人的分手。 照愛爾蘭民歌的原始意味，這首歌是寫父子之情，Danny Boy最後尋找到的，是父子之愛。

由於歌曲曲調悠揚、悽美，傳唱度廣，已有許多的歌手都對此歌曲進行過翻唱，如：Johnny Cash、少女時代、Hayley Westenra、藤田惠美、小野麗莎等。但其中最為經典的是來自愛爾蘭本土的Declan Galbraith演唱的版本。演唱時他只有10歲，乾淨悠揚的童聲以及熟練的演唱技巧令人感到震撼與難以忘懷，十分打動人。
