Cold Turkey是約翰列儂創作的一支單曲，1969年由 Plastic Ono Band製作， 在Apple廠牌下發行為單曲。這是約翰列儂的第二支單曲，在美國 Billboard Hot 100排名#30，在英國單曲榜排名#14.

值得一提的是這支單曲是史上最強大的大牌組合錄製的。演唱及節奏吉他伴奏由約翰列儂完成，主奏電吉他則是大名鼎鼎的Eric Clapton埃裏剋剋萊普頓（慢手上帝），著名樂手Klaus Voormann擔任低音貝斯的演奏，古典配樂則由披頭士鼓手Ringo Starr完成。這就是當時 Plastic Ono Band塑膠洋子樂隊，樂隊的配合高度統一，成就了經典。
Lennon的經紀人在接受採訪時表示，他相信這首歌並不是Lennon戒毒時的靈感創作，而是在吃一隻剩下的冷火雞後身體不適的寫照，Lennon怕別人笑話自己，所以聲稱是戒除海洛因時的創作。
歌詞中描述了列儂在“cold turkey”療法下痛苦戒毒的絕望感受。
Cold Turkey現場表演
約翰列儂的兩次重要的個人演出Live Peace In Toronto 1969和Some Time in New York City中都有演唱，展現了其無可挑剔的現場能力。而後者也是他最後一次與前披頭士成員合作演唱（喬治哈里森）
