Born to Die創作背景

拉娜·德雷在上高中時是一個“不良少女”。15歲時拉娜·德雷染上酗酒的毛病，生活中只有酒精，一個朋友都沒有。後來拉娜·德雷意識到了問題的嚴重性，家人十分擔心她，自己也很無助，處於人生低谷。於是拉娜·德雷開始戒酒，並效果顯著，重新開始生活。《Born To Die》就取材於這段經歷^[3] 。
