All I Want For Christmas Is You創作背景
瑪麗亞·凱莉非常喜歡節日，幼年時就經常演唱聖誕歌曲

。她在幼年時就已經有關於“聖誕歌曲”的想法和點子

。在1993年，她着手創作聖誕專輯《Merry Christmas》，她找來了製作人華特·亞凡瑟夫。當時瑪麗亞和她當時的丈夫湯米·摩托拉很想錄一首菲爾·斯派特風格的聖誕歌曲
