麥克法蘭豬籠草

麥克法蘭豬籠草可以長出帶紅色斑點的捕蟲籠。下位籠成卵形至圓柱型，可高達20cm。在蓋子下表面密佈着白色的短毛。這是麥克法蘭豬籠草的特點之一。 ^[2] 

生活的環境其濕度和温度都較高，並具有明亮的散射光。一般為森林或灌木林的邊緣或空地上。

馬來半島特有的食蟲植物。

查爾斯·克拉克（Charles Clarke ）在蘇門答臘和馬來半島發現了一種瘦小豬籠草（N. gracillima）與麥克法蘭豬籠草的自然雜交種（N. gracillima × N. macfarlanei）。
