主要研究領域為“新型熒光材料的開發及應用”，其研究內容包括：（1）新型熒光探針的設計、合成及對環境污染物的檢測；（2）新型熒光染料的開發及其光譜學性質的理論研究。 ^[1] 

已主持省教育廳項目1項，省重點實驗室項目1項及校基金項目2項；發表SCI論文8篇，其中影響因子(Impact Factor, IF)大於6的論文有4篇。
