1988-2014期間在澳大利亞學習工作,曾任澳大利亞科學與工業研究院材料研究所首席科學家。

。其中5 篇綜述性論文發表在材料領域國際頂級學術刊物“Progress In Polymer Science”(IF:24.10)上,論文累計引用超過5800 次。
主要從事生物降解全澱粉塑料、天然高分子的反應擠出改性等領域的科學研究。已產業化9項科研成果,其中由全澱粉可生物降解塑料技術建立的公司已經在倫敦上市,全澱粉藥用膠囊技術在中國產業化。開發出的全澱粉發泡緩衝保温材料也已經通過綠髮公司推向市場。
