2011-2017年在華中農業大學攻讀博士學位,2017年人才引進(第I層次)至湖南農業大學植物保護學院工作。主要研究方向為水稻害蟲發生規律及成災機理,以第一作者在《Insect Molecular Biology》、《Scientific Reports》、《Journal of Invertebrate Pathology》、《Journal of Economic Entomology》等本領域主流SCI期刊發表論文8篇;參與承擔研究生《植物有害生物綜合治理》和本科生《農業昆蟲學實驗》等課程的教學工作。

邱林研究領域

現階段的工作將以水稻害蟲為材料圍繞“害蟲發生規律及成災機理”研究方向開展,擬從以下幾個方面進行研究:
(1)激素信號通路調控昆蟲卵黃原蛋白形成的分子機理; [2] 
(2)miRNA在調控昆蟲生殖發育中的作用;
(3)非基因組途徑調控昆蟲生殖的機理研究。
