本劇講述了迪格拉絲中學15名學生的故事，他們要克服青春期的各種障礙，從同學關係、同性戀到強姦、校園槍擊和死亡等等，加拿大劇集《迪格拉絲中學的下一代》給我們講述了這一代青年真正的經歷。
Degrassi: The Next Generation is a Canadian drama about a group of teens and how they deal with everyday social issues, such as important topics including rape and homosexuality. The show follows various students as they go through high school at Degrassi Community School. The show is one the highest rated teen dramas in Canada, and is a spin-off Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High and characters created by Linda Schuyler.
