莫宗堅人物經歷

1958年,考入台灣大學化學系,次年轉入數學系學習;
1962年,畢業後前往美國普渡大學數學系留學,師從知名數學家Shreeram Shankar Abhyankar;
1969年,獲得美國普渡大學博士學位,畢業後在美國普渡大學任助理教授;
1971年至1972年間,任職於美國普林斯頓高等研究院;
1972年,任教於美國明尼蘇達大學;
1975年,晉升為美國明尼蘇達大學副教授,同年起回到美國普渡大學任教;
1983年,擔任美國普渡大學數學系教授。 [1]
