英語影視欣賞課程性質
- 課程背景
哲人説：“讀史使人明智，讀詩使人靈秀…邏輯修辭之學使人善辯。凡有所學，皆成性格”。智者説：“一個人的閲讀史或觀影史就是其心靈成長史”。語言魅力結合電影藝術，談吐之間、虛實之變、光影入眼，體悟入心，必有所得。

英語影視欣賞課程簡介
該課程共八章，包括蒙娜麗莎的微笑、魔鬼穿普拉達、阿凡達、反常的星期五、米開朗基羅、傲慢與偏見、火星人、肖申克的救贖等內容，第一章是講解對高等教育價值的思考；第二章介紹生活和職業平衡問題；第三章介紹阿凡達創造的科技奇蹟和一些現實主題；第四章介紹代溝、美國特定的幾代人和四種育兒方式，分析母親和女兒之間的衝突，提出彌合代溝和實現成功溝通的方法；第五章主要介紹米開朗基羅作為雕塑家、畫家和建築師的生活，揭開米開朗基羅成功的“奧秘”，欣賞米開朗基羅的主要藝術作品；第六章介紹電影在藝術和主題上的成功，定義“真愛”並培養理想的婚姻價值取向；第七章對以火星為主題的科幻電影有一些基本的瞭解；欣賞主人公在應對火星惡劣環境中為生存而戰時表現出的積極態度和英雄主義精神；第八章探討電影的主題，找出救贖、自由、希望和信仰的意義，欣賞故事敍述中運用的技巧，揭示現實生活中人們自己的精神世界，以及如何遠離世俗的干擾，讓人們的靈魂自由。
