2012年畢業於美國喬治梅森大學，獲傳播學方向哲學博士學位。2008-2011年期間連續三年半獲得該校全額獎學金，2012年獲得該校優秀博士論文基金。2006年畢業於美國韋恩州立大學，獲傳播學碩士學位。2006-2008年期間連續兩年獲得 Graduate-Professional Scholarships（獎學金）。 2003-2005年任職於北京電視台一套，擔任記者、編輯。2003年獲得吉林大學新聞學學士學位。
