主持和參與了國家自然科學基金、湖南省重點研發計劃等多項國家/省部級課題。以第一作者或通訊作者在IEEE/ACM Trans或中科院SCI一區期刊發表論文50餘篇,包括IEEE TMC、IEEE JSAC、IEEE T-Cyber、IEEE TITS、IEEE TNNLS、IEEE TON、ACM CSUR、IEEE TSP、IEEE TII、IEEE IOTJ、IEEE TVT、IEEE TGRS等國際權威期刊。研究方向包括下一代通信新技術(5G)、車聯網大數據挖掘、無線定位與位置感知、隱私保護和圖像處理等領域。目前受邀擔任車聯網、智能交通系統Top期刊IEEE T-ITS的編委(AE),入選“2022年度全球頂尖2%學者”。 [1]
