該校本來與聖馬可小學結成“一條龍學校”，後者學生畢業後可直升往該校就讀，但其後因為香港教育統籌局改變中學教學語言政策，便於2006年2月12日宣佈聖馬可小學斷絕關係。這引起了聖馬可小學家長以及教育統籌局的強烈不滿。收生及教學語言

除中國語文、普通話、中國歷史、中國文學和中國語文及文化外，其他科目均以英語授課。
