第17屆美國公告牌音樂獎獎項評析
第17屆美國公告牌音樂獎的一大特點是按領域將獎項一網打盡，獎項歸屬高度集中。R&B女歌手瑪麗·布萊姬獲得了9個獎項，將R&B領域的獎項一網打盡，當仁不讓地成為該屆美國公告牌音樂獎的最大贏家。説唱歌手T.I.和鄉村歌手凱莉·安德伍德則分別獲得5個獎項，將各自領域的幾乎全部獎項照單全收。而出道不久便聲勢驚人的克里斯·布朗則擊敗眾多對手，將年度藝人、年度男藝人和年度新人3個重要獎項一舉拿下。雖然在提名階段，瑪麗·布萊姬、T.I.和凱莉·安德伍德等歌手就已經是熱門人物，但最後他們能拿到各自領域幾乎所有的獎項還是讓所有人大跌眼鏡
