2005年——2010年 清華大學人文學院歷史系，獲歷史學學士學位

2010年——2013年 清華大學人文學院歷史系，獲世界史碩士學位

2013年——2018年 賓夕法尼亞大學東亞語言與文明系，獲哲學博士學位

2019年1月起 任中山大學博雅學院副教授、中國史專業碩士生導師 ^[1] 

源於對中國歷史與文明中的“外來”因素的學術興趣，我的研究聚焦於：中外交流史與中古北方民族史。在中外交流史領域，我一方面討論域外的神話傳説、物質文化、動物、神靈乃至怪獸在古代中國文化中的變異及重現，以及它們在中國的接受史；另一方面，我也關注中國文物海外流傳及收藏史，將該主題置於中國近現代史的大背景中，以理解分析這些文物流動背後的文化史與政治史，尤其是收藏者本人對於中國歷史的介入對文物本身所帶來的影響，以及這些文物在美國西歐的流動與收藏所反映出的中國形象在西方的變遷與接受過程。在中古北方民族史的研究中，通過“內亞視角”關注中國歷史，我嘗試理解並解讀遊牧文化對於定居者所建立的政權的衝擊與影響。 ^[1]
