斯塔普萊頓曾有兩次婚姻，1949年與第一任丈夫Max A. Allentuck結婚，兩人於1959年離婚。斯塔普萊頓和Allentuck育有兩個孩子。1963年與第二任丈夫David Rayfiel結婚，兩人於1966年離婚，無子女

瑪倫·斯塔普萊頓基本簡介
1959年進入電影界，以《寂寞的心》首登銀幕，即獲奧斯卡最佳女配角提名。次年及1978年又分別以《九霄驚魂》、《內心世界》獲奧斯卡最佳女配角提名。1981年以《赤色分子》（又譯《亂世情天》）榮獲第54屆奧斯卡最佳女配角金像獎。其它代表性影片還有《慾火情焰》、《歡樂今宵》、《鬥氣俏冤家》、《天繭》、《終止》等。
