1989.9—1994.6中國科學院上海生理所(今中國科學院神經科學研究所)神經生物學專業,獲博士學位(導師李朝義院士)。
1994.8-1996.6,美國加州大學伯克利分校,博士後(合作導師:Prof Gerald Westheimer)。

1996.7-1999.5年,德國馬克思普朗克學會生物控制論研究所,訪問學者。
1999.6-2007.6,美國洛克菲勒大學,研究助理教授(合作導師:Charles Gilbert 院士)。

李武學術成果

通過在獼猴大腦皮層中植入微電極陣列,研究猴子在執行各種視覺檢測和分辨任務時神經元的反應特性,探討視知覺的神經機制。主要研究興趣在於視覺及其皮層加工過程的自適應性,包括各種動態特性和可塑性,着重研究以下問題:(1)視皮層神經元如何根據特定的圖形上下文,動態地對各種圖象信息進行整合和分割,從而形成知覺表象上的圖形和背景;(2)選擇性注意等高級認知功能如何動態地調節視覺神經元的反應特性,從而最為有效地處理視覺圖象中與行為密切相關的信息;(3)過去的經驗如何影響視覺神經元對刺激的編碼以及知覺學習的神經機制,即知覺訓練過程中所產生的內隱記憶是如何被存儲和提取的。
