席波主要學術貢獻

1. 兒童肥胖已成為我國嚴重的公共衞生問題。於2010年至2011年，依託北京市兒童青少年代謝綜合徵(BCAMS)研究資源，選取3503名6-18歲的學齡兒童，探討7個全基因組關聯研究（GWAS）發現的肥胖基因位點多態性(FTO rs9939609、FAIM2 rs7138803、NPCI rsl80508l、FTO rs6499640、MC4R rSl7782313、BDNF rs6265、GNPDA2 rsl0938397)與學齡兒童BMI、肥胖的關聯性；探討基因-基因以及基因-環境交互作用對學齡兒童肥胖的影響。相關研究成果發表在Am J Epidemiol, BMC Med Genet, Diabetes等SCI雜誌。
2. 在我國兒童高血壓患病率呈現逐年升高的趨勢。於2010年至2019，依託國家科技支撐“十二五”課題數據，探討GWAS發現的肥胖相關基因位點與中國兒童高血壓的關係，首次在中國兒童中揭示肥胖基因如FTO等可以通過肥胖增加兒童高血壓風險。相關研究成果發表在Int J Obes, Metabolism等SCI雜誌。同時，探討了GWAS發現的高血壓相關基因位點與中國兒童高血壓的關係，首次在中國兒童中探討這些位點與肥胖、體力活動等生活方式因素的交互作用對兒童高血壓的影響。相關成果發表在Am J Hypertens等SCI雜誌。
3. 2015年12月，本人聯合來自伊朗、韓國、印度、美國、波蘭、突尼斯等國家的30餘名從事兒童高血壓領域的學者，首次研製出基於性別、年齡和身高的國際兒童血壓偏高百分位(P90、P95和P99)標準。這一國際兒童血壓標準的制定，有利於早期識別和控制兒童高血壓，為全球兒童血壓偏高的防治提供了有效工具。相關成果發表在Circulation雜誌。同時，採用7個國家（中國、韓國、伊朗、波蘭、突尼斯、印度和美國）的有代表性的調研數據，比較了國際上推薦的11種簡化血壓標準與美國第4次報告複雜標準的一致性，最後推薦採用基於身高別的第95百分位血壓界值進行兒童高血壓的早期篩檢。相關成果發表在Hypertension。另外，本研究團隊還驗證了血壓身高比簡化篩查方法在中國和美國兒童的效果，研究成果發表在Pediatrics和Int J Cardiol。 [1]
