周錫庚

1918年浙江省醫藥專門學校藥科畢業，留學日本。回國後任上海中法藥廠廠長，以中華製藥公司名義監製龍虎人丹。

1951年，任中國中醫院中西藥研究所研究員。“文化大革命”中被誣為“反動學術權威”，1978年恢復名譽。

獲國家教委科技進步二等獎2項，安徽省教委科技進步一等獎1項，上海市科技進步三等獎1項。曾獲上海市“曙光學者“、教育部“優秀青年教師“、教育部“跨世紀優秀人才“、“上海市優秀學科帶頭人“等稱號。

金屬有機化學；基於稀土金屬參與的新有機合成方法學；金屬導向的分子組裝、結構、磁性和化學反應。

迄今共主持了20餘項國家及省市部門科學基金研究課題，發現了20餘種重要的稀土金屬有機新反應，如首例稀土金屬誘導的芳基取代烯醇配體的親電共扼加成反應，稀土引發的硅自由基催化反應，Me2SiO插入金屬-氮鍵反應、氧插入稀土-硫鍵反應等。發表研究論文110餘篇。這些論文已被同行在《Chem. Rev.》; 《J. Am. Chem. Soc.》; 《Angew.Chem.Int. Ed.Engl.》等重要學術期刊上共引用500餘次。著有《藥用植物》等。
