來吧，甜蜜的死亡

《來吧，甜蜜的死亡》的歌名來自巴赫的一首聲樂作品——《Komm, süsser Tod, komm, sel'ge Ruh! 》，不過一般簡稱為“Komm, süsser Tod”。這首“Komm, süsser Tod”曾被斯托科夫斯基改編管絃樂。

歌詞原以日文寫出，再譯為英文唱出。英文歌詞比較隱晦，日文歌詞則直接顯示出真嗣的心境：不願再與人心接觸、不願再喜歡任何人、不願再傷害任何人、希望迴歸無有。

因為第三次衝擊發生了，所有的心之壁潰決，所以不必再去提防任何人、不會再傷害到任何人，不再有生老病死，也沒有時間空間了。

《來吧，甜蜜的死亡》後段使用了搖滾現場般的音效，歡快的節奏與極度悲哀的氣氛形成強烈對比，使人受到巨大的心理衝擊。

《來吧，甜蜜的死亡》被收錄進The End Of Evangelion同名專輯和紀念EVA十週年的專輯Neon Genesis Evangelion [Decade]中。 ^[1]  日文版（come sweet death,second impact）被收錄進專輯The world!EVAngelion JAZZ night=The Tokyo III Jazz club=中。
